The V8 8" Front-Firing Subwoofer from SpeakerCraft provides powerful, musical bass in a versatile enclosure. The sub features an 8" long-throw woofer, which is driven by an 80W internal amplifier to provide strong bass with low distortion. Dual bass ports on the front baffle help to extend low frequency response, and minimize bass compression, especially when installed into wall units or other cabinets.
The sub has a top-mounted recessed volume control, and a phase switch to keep in sync with your speakers. Stereo and LFE inputs are provided for terrific versatility. The V8 has an auto power feature that automatically turns it on and off based on when audio signals are sensed. A low-pass filter lets you set the crossover frequency for perfect matching with your speakers.
Protection circuitry prevents damage from overloads, and the sub is magnetically shielded for safe use near video monitors and other electronics. Isolation feet decouple the V8 from the floor to minimize rumble, vibration, and reflections. The subwoofer also offers a 115/230V operating voltage switch, ideal for international operation.
