The Chrosziel Matte Box 456-20 Kit 3 for Sony PMW-EX3 Cameras consists of a 456-20 matte box, a French flag, a filterstage for 2 independently rotating 4 x 5.65/5 x 5 combination filter holders, a 130mm rear plate, 2 step-down rings (130:110mm and 110:77mm), DV Studio Rig Follow Focus system, and a bracket for 15mm lightweight support rods.

The 456-20 matte box offers a wide angle (16:9/4:3) housing for lenses as wide as 12mm (35mm Academy) and eliminates the effects of vignetting. Equipped with a filterstage for 2 independently rotating 4 x 5.65/5 x 5 filter holders, the matte box provides sufficient space for adjusting the position of filters.

Provided with a French flag, the Matte Box 456-20 Kit 3 controls the angle of light and eliminates lens glare and flare, and it can be coupled with optional side wings for accurate light adjustment. To adapt to different HDSLR lens openings, the kit contains 2 step-down rings (130:110mm and 110:77mm) and a 130mm rear plate.

The DV Studio Rig Follow Focus System consists of an easily readable scale, gear drives, and gear rings that allow repeatable focus pulls and ensure precise adjustments and optimal use of the lens' adjustable angle. For a secure mounting, the Matte Box 456-20 Kit 3 includes a center bracket for use with the 15mm lightweight support rods.

Using a tightening knob, you can attach the matte box system to the 15mm lightweight support. Optional side wings attached to the matte box using a pivot mechanism help shield the lens from excess light. An optional swing-away bracket, attached to the back of the matte box housing allows for quick and efficient lens changes.
