The Cavision 0.7x Wide-Angle Adapter is a high-quality lens attachment for 2/3" broadcast lenses with an 86 or 85mm diameter. Providing a 30% wider angle of view than the base lens, this multi-coated adapter is ideal for shooting in tight spaces as well as POV and action shots. It attaches via a clamp-on ring to lenses with 8mm and higher focal lengths.
Note:
Cavision wide-angle adapters will not work on lenses with the shortest focal greater than 20mm. Because fixed focal adapters lose focus when the focal length on the lens is changed, this adapter is not recommended when live zooms are necessary. See compatibility notes below.
Compatibility
- If the shortest focal of the lens is less than 10mm, there will be no focus issues and the wide-angle adapter should work.
- If the shortest focal of the lens is between 10 and 20mm, a back focal/macro is needed to focus, so you will have to check if their lens has back focal.
- Cavision wide-angle adapters will not work on the customer's lenses with the shortest focal greater than 20mm.
