The 1U4600 Rackmount NAS Server from Thecus is a stellar way to store, backup, and, of course, access data on your growing business network. For saving data, this server features four SATA 3Gbps drive slots that can accept both 3.5" and 2.5" form-factor drives.* To ensure fast data access and transfers, this server employs an Intel Celeron processor and 1GB of DDR2 RAM. For data security, you can save files in a RAID configuration, such as 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD. Also, your administrator can take advantage of online-RAID volume management to handle such tasks as RAID expansion or migration with zero downtime.
Beyond these features, this server is designed to be extremely manageable and flexible when you need to integrate it into your network. In terms of management, it has a cloud networking ability, so that you can configure and access multiple 1U4600 servers from a master system.
