The Ikegami High Definition Camera Control Unit provides enhanced control over HD cameras. You can connect the CCU to the Ikegami HDK-series HDTV cameras via SMPTE fiber cables. Supported cable types include native 1080i or 720p. Also provided is improved digital processing via advanced 0.18um ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuits). Improved ASICs mounted on an optional engine board render the conversion possible. You can utilize the CCU for frame or multi-format conversion for formats such as 24p, 30p, 50p, 720p, or 1080i.
