The security system allows you to remotely monitor your home and office, and can be controlled via the internet or select 3G smartphones.
With H.264 technology, the Scorpion-168500 Network DVR is capable of delivering high-quality videos at low data rates, and enables you to save more video footage, providing up to 50% more storage space. The user-friendly point & click interface allows you to easily access the DVR features by simply clicking on the particular feature. You can also record videos only when required by using the motion activated recording feature, saving time and conserving hard disk space. The Triplex technology allows you to simultaneously record, playback, and view live videos remotely.
The password protection feature ensures that only an authorized person can access the DVR locally or remotely. When the hard drive is full, the Scorpion-168500 DVR provides an option to either stop recording or overwrite the old footage. It comes with an additional hot swappable hard drive bay in the front of the unit.
The 8 night vision cameras with 1/4" Color CMOS image sensor deliver crisp images at a resolution of 400TVL. Equipped with 11 IR LEDs, the cameras allow you to view even in darkness at a distance of up to 30'. You can use the built-in USB port to store important video recordings directly to a USB flash drive or an external USB hard drive.
