The Shure PGXD2/PG58 is a digital wireless handheld microphone transmitter compatible with PGXD4 receivers and equipped with an interchangeable PG58 dynamic cardioid microphone capsule. The unit provides up to 9 hours of continuous use with two AA batteries at a range up to 200'.
The PGXD2 transmitter operates anywhere in the world in the 900 MHz range delivering high-quality 24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio. It offers 10 dB of adjustable gain control to accommodate presenters and performers at varying volume levels. Infrared ports on the transmitter and the receiver (available separately) allow you to sync the components to the same frequency with a single button press on the receiver.
The transmitter's power button doubles as a mute button with a short press. The LED shows power, mute, and battery status, while the controls can be locked out to prevent accidental setting changes.
