Bosch DNR-754-16A200 Overview

The Bosch DNR-754-16A200 Digital Network Recorder with DVD Recorder (16-channel, 2 TB) offers 16 IP camera channels (expandable up to 32 channels) along with 2 Ethernet 10/100/1000 BaseT network connection. It provides real-time viewing, recording, and playback in genuine 4CIF resolution for up to 16 cameras simultaneously, and features 16 alarm inputs and 5 relay outputs.

Using H.264 compression technology, the Network Recorder reduces bandwidth and storage needs. The recorder comes with 2 TB of internal storage, which can be increased to 8 TB on 4 front-accessible hard drives. Appropriate for applications that need non-stop recording at the highest resolution, frame rate, and retention time, the storage can be increased by an external Bosch iSCSI video storage array.

The Digital Network Recorder has a fully automated, onboard IP camera management system. Integration with other surveillance systems and specialized software is provided by VideoSDK, which offers a complete toolbox of modules for playback, searching, and viewing live images. The CLI (Command Language Interface) commands allow you to automatically control the recorder, and can be used with external software that is used for functions such as sensing alarms or access control on an existing (embedded) computer system.

With the smart search feature, you can quickly find key events in recorded video. The DNR-754-16A200 Digital Network Recorder allows you to export recording to USB drives, using the built-in DVD recorder, or remotely using the Control Center software. Other features of the DVR include digitally watermarked videos for credibility of recordings, intuitive interface with clear, menu-driven options, and playback scenes for comparing past and present events by simultaneously viewing live images. The keyboard loop-through feature allows you to control up to 16 recorders using a single IntuiKey keyboard. You can also manage the recorder using other control devices such as a mouse.

The embedded design of the Digital Network Recorder provides higher level of security against network attacks than traditional systems and eliminates the need to install software patches and anti-virus updates. With the integrated architecture and built-in installation wizards, the recorder is easy to set up.

The digital video recorder is suitable for medium to large scale systems and can be used for public monitoring and crowd surveillance in shopping centers, retail applications, banks and financial institutions, city centers, casinos, and hotel complexes.
