The Bosch LTC 8782 Code Translator (American Dynamics Manchester to Biphase) translates the received American Dynamics Manchester code to the corresponding commands in Bosch Biphase protocol, allowing American Dynamics controllers to control the Biphase receivers. It supports full range of Bosch Biphase Aux and preposition numbers, and provides 4 independent outputs along with full Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) code conversions.
The Code Translator can be programmed by internal switches for generating either fixed or variable speed Biphase code and for accepting either fixed or variable speed American Dynamics code. Internal switches can also be used to program the translator to offset the 64 camera American Dynamic address blocks to 1 of 32 Biphase address blocks that are capable of supporting up to 64 cameras each. For large systems, 32 translators can be used for supporting up to 2,048 cameras.
Removable screw terminal blocks are used for input and output connections. Front panel LEDs help to monitor module performance by indicating the data received, data transmitted, and power status. The LTC 8782 Code Translator receives power from a 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz power supply, and comes in an EIA 19" (48cm) rack mount adaptor that can carry up to 3 units.
