This is a great idea and may be an excellent product. Please be aware, however, that this requires a Windows operating system to set up (and perhaps use). Per the suggestion of a B&H representative, Mac users could consider using an Apple TV connected to the projector.

Having a wireless connection to the projector is really handy, and this gets a thumbs-up for convenience. However the PJD ViewSonic Projector we have only displays a 4:3 resolution when connected to a computer wirelessly. This is probably a fault with the projector or generic ViewSonic presentation software.

Which is better, this one or the WP200?Or can I just use a cheap dongle?
I used this device to pair up with Viewsonic's thin client system. If something else would have worked I would have used it.
