Under the hood, the Tron Dock is powered by a 2.1 channel speaker system, consisting of 4 patented high-sensitivity mid-range drivers and a long-throw down-firing subwoofer. The Tron Light Disc Audio Dock features an automatic input detector, so there are no buttons to push when choosing an input source. The automatic detector will select the correct input when it senses the signal. Even though the Tron Dock was built to house an iPod or iPhone, the Aux input infuses the system with a little flexibility. You can plug in your laptop, desktop computer, an alternate MP3 player or anything else that has a line output. But if you want the full effects from the Tron Light Disk Audio Dock, you'll need an iPod or iPhone so you can download the Monster Visualizer App. It's compatible only with the Tron Dock and offers access to Monster's Game Grid Visualizer and Alarm Clock. It also has some special effects.
