Hitachi CP-X10000 Overview

The Hitachi CP-X10000 LCD Installation Projector is a powerful behemoth that outputs 7,500 lumens of brightness and a 2,500:1 contrast ratio. This is the projector you want for large venues and permanent installations to project 1,024 x 768 images on screens up to 700" (17.8 m) with or without ambient light.

Thanks to its 1.3" LCD projection panel, the CP-X10000 creates vivid, lifelike images in fine detail. Of course the CP-X10000 has the features you've come to expect from a high-quality installation projector. It can display 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition images and its international capabilities include automatic selection and projection NTSC, PAL and SECAM signals. It also has a world-ready 100 - 240V AC 50 / 60 Hz power supply which operates virtually anywhere there's electricity.

Although the CP-X10000 doesn't come with a lens this gives you the opportunity to choose one of six bayonet lenses which cover a range from ultra short to ultra long, to best suit the needs of your space.

The CP-X10000's wide connectivity includes HDMI, DVD-I, S-Video, component and composite as well as a variable audio line-out to balance external speaker levels, as well as a monitor output for an auxiliary display. The CP-X10000 is equipped to use your local network (LAN) thanks to its RJ-45 (Ethernet) jack. You can make presentations from any PC on your network as well as managing, monitoring and controlling it remotely. You can also send important announcements like scheduling information to several CP-X10000s in multiple locations. They, in turn, can email you individual status data detailing conditions like excessively high temperature, imminent lamp burn-out and other maintenance issues.

Security is handled by a PIN Lock, Keypad Lock and Kensington Lock slot.

Inorganic LCD Panels
Each model utilizes three inorganic LCD panels that offer more resistance to light. This translates to longer operating life and enables installation of a stronger light source, achieving a greater level of brightness. A double speed drive coupled with LCD panels not only offers improved picture quality, but higher contrast as well.
High Performance Filter
Each of the Professional Series Installation Projectors features a highly efficient dust-resistant cooling system. This dramatically boosts reliability, resulting in an air filter that delivers over 10,000 maintenance-free hours. With its long-life and easy maintenance enhancements, this projector is ideal for use in retail, digital signage and other environments where the projector is in constant use.
Easy Replacement
Easy side and rear access to key components simplifies maintenance when replacements are necessary. A side access panel allows for quick and easy filter replacement. A rear access panel allows for quick and easy lamp replacement.
Heightened Picture Quality
Digital processing of the video signal is 10-bit from input to output, allowing smooth and natural graduations with 1,024 shades of each RGB color. In total, each model can create 1,074 billion colors. Additionally, with its on-board high performance chip and 2,500:1 contrast ratio, picture quality is boosted even further.
Connectivity
Every conceivable connection option is covered with 2x 15-pin Mini-D-sub, 1x BNC (shared with component), 1x DVI-D, 1x HDMI (Digital RGB) as well as an RJ-45 network socket.
Wider Lens Shift
With Hitachi's lens shift technology, the image range of movement grows even wider. The projector can cover a total range of 2.7 screen areas vertically and 2.2 screen areas horizontally (it can shift up or down by 85% of the screen's height, and left or right by 60% of the screen's width). In auditoriums and convention halls with stationary screens, the projector can now be placed freely among any number of possible locations.
Brightness
The CP-X10000 projects at an impressive 7,500 ANSI lumens, providing sufficient performance in a variety of settings regardless of size or brightness.
Vertical Projection
Images can be projected at 90 degrees up and down, opening up a whole new range of possible applications.
Optional Lenses
With six optional bayonet lenses manufactured to Hitachi's exacting standards, projection distances are now more flexible than ever, allowing these Professional Series Installation Projectors to fit easily into any available space. For large venues, these lenses are capable of creating images up to 700". Choose from Ultra Long lens UL-806, Long lens LL-805, Standard lens SD-804, Short 2 Lens SL-803, Short 1 lens SL-802 and Ultra Short lens USL-801.
Security
Each projector is equipped with a security bar that allows easy attachment of a security chain as well as PIN lockouts.
Network Bridge function RS-232C
The Network Bridge function allows for commands to be transmitted via its LAN port to another device connected to the RS-232C output, such as an external TV Tuner or control panel. Not only does this simplify and reduce cabling and installation costs, but having individual RS-232C inputs and outputs allows you to daisy chain multiple Professional Series Installation Projectors together.
Mechanical Shutter
The shutter mechanically blocks off light, acting as a valuable tool for any presentation.
Remote Control with ID Change Function
The accompanying remote control comes with four ID buttons. When operating multiple projectors, each ID can be changed, preventing malfunction. In addition, focus, zoom and lens shift can be adjusted via the remote control.
OSD Menu Design
All models feature a new OSD menu with an intuitive interface and sophisticated design. Various functions are easily differentiated by icons, and a horizontal slide bar makes for easy operation.
