Hitachi SD-800 Overview
Standard-Throw Ratio
The SD-800 features a versatile 1:2.2 - 2.9 standard-throw ratio. It also boasts a considerable display range with an impressive 700" maximum and moderate 40" minimum projection image size. With the ability to project both massive and moderate diagonal displays from fairly similar throw distances, the SD-800 truly is an ideal standard lens for multiple applications in medium to large venues
Motorized Focus & Motorized Zoom
The Hitachi SD-800 features a motorized focus with a standard 1.6 - 2.1 focal ratio and 60 - 78 mm focal length. Combined with a multi-use standard-throw ratio and 1:1.3 zoom ratio, the SD-800 motorized zoom lens promotes well-defined, vivid images in both medium and large venues, ensuring that - even in a large theater or auditorium - everyone will be able to see the display clearly
XGA & WXGA Aspect Ratio
The SD-800 supports both 4:3 and 17:10 aspect ratios, giving it the ability to adapt to a widescreen resolution if the projector is also capable. This feature is perfect in large venues where theater-style widescreens are used for projection, or in medium-sized classrooms/boardrooms where widescreen whiteboards are commonly used
Vertical & Horizontal Lens Shift
Vertical lens shift allows the projector to optically move the image up and down so the projector will always be properly placed, even in varying installation scenarios. Horizontal lens shift works the same way for side-to-side movement
