The Bosch KBE-498V28-20 Day/Night Unity Camera with a 1/3" high resolution imager and a 2.8-10mm lens, provides high-quality imagery at a resolution up to 540TVL. The camera is pre-wired into a housing that has a feed-through wall mount. It features a 20-bit digital signal processing that improves the sensitivity and the 2x dynamic technology provides detailed images.
The Bilinx technology enables you to change the camera settings, check status, and update firmware from anywhere via the coaxial cable. The technology uses the standard video cable to transmit alarm and status messages, improving the overall performance of the camera and reducing the service/installation time. Auto white balance feature adjusts the red and blue signals in the MWB mode by taking a standard white color reference to get the most natural colors.
Privacy masking can be used to mask specific portions of a scene for security reasons. The default shutter speed of the KBE-498V28-20 camera captures fast moving objects when sufficient light is available. The camera supports up to 6 independent, pre-programmed operating modes, which can be easily switched via Bilinx or the external alarm input.
With built-in video motion detection, the Unity Camera enables you to select a programmable area with individual threshold. On motion detection, the alarms can be displayed in video signals or an alarm message can be sent via Bilinx.
The Day/Night Camera includes a sunshield, which protects the camera from direct rays of the sun as well as heater and blower to maintain the internal temperature of the unit. With the plug-and-play feature, the camera is easy to install. It is suitable for use in entrance foyers or lobbies with glare, tunnels, parking lots, and casinos and for traffic monitoring applications.
