    Benro BH00 reviews

BH00 Ballhead with Quick Release is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick and Strong! This tripod head is fantastic. I use this head with my Canon T1i, battery grip, and 17-40mm lens. Once tightened you can definitely be sure that your camera is not going to fall out or come loose, mine still hasn't and I've shaken it to test this. It's also a very sturdy head. Once tightened into position your camera is definitely not budging, and the quick release plate makes removing and replacing your camera very easy. I gave the head 4 stars instead of 5 because both the adjustment of the ballhead and any horizontal rotation of the head are controlled by one lock. This can be a pain for anybody looking to use the head for panoramic photos.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good small ballhead... I am using this small ballhead with a Kacey pole adapter for overhead shots at receptions. Good small, lightweight ballhead for a small camera setup, I will typically put a Canon 5D mkII and 17-40 on here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Durable all-metal construction, the quick release plate has a D-ring so you can attach it without using a screwdriver, and the locking knob is progressive so you can be confident that it's tight and won't come loose. Unlocking the knob allows angling the plate in any direction as well as swiveling the base, a nice feature. I use two of these on my DSLR cage to attach a Marshall field monitor and a Tascam field recorder. It would have been nice to have a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter come with it but that's not a big deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality tripod head. Great ball head. The only con I have with any ballhead is that you REALLY have to remember to hold the camera when your releasing the ball clamp. Sounds common sense? If you have used one you have probably release the tensioner and had the camera flop down and smack into the tripod. It just happens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for using with GorillaPods :) A nice ball head but really this is a shout out to the great B&H staffer who helped me today. I needed a gorilla pod SLR-Zoom tripod but I have two cameras. I wanted the Ballhead for the gorilla pod but Joby does not sell spare plates. I did not want to buy two ball heads. This Benro ball head fits the gorilla pod well and can take standard plates (I actually got an Oben one). Excellent solution from the B&H staff member. That is why I will always come to B&H for my photography equipment

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fine quick release ballhead for amateur I attach this ballhead to my tripod/monopod. It helps me to quickly secure my camera, sometimes weigh 3-4 pounds with zoom lenses, onto the tripod/monopod. It is pretty heavy duty built and easy to use. However, the bottom screw hole is larger than the conventional 1/4 screw receptacle and hence I have to order a reducer bushing to reduce it in order to attach the ballhead into my tripod/monopod. It costs me a few bucks and a few days waiting for the delivery. .........

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Ballhead Works great with an OM-D, Its very small and the baseplate fits a camera of this size very well. I'm using it with a OM-D and voigtlander 17mm, a fairly heavy combo and it doesn't budge. The only negative I would give it is that I wish the operation was a bit smoother. Adjusting the head is a bit jerky and the screws for the plate feel a bit cheap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ball Head For Time Lapse Dolly I love this ball head for a lot of reasons It was very reasonably priced and it just feels solid when you use it. I have this mounted on my custom built time lapse dolly and I love using it. The only downside is if you plan on using it for video then it can be hard to pan and tilt smoothly without a drag knob.
