Benro BH00 Reviews
A lifesaver. It's crazy there more ball heads don't use levers instead of knobs.
Purchased this from a local camera store because it's the only ballhead they had in stock. I ended up losing it and little did I know how fortunate I was to have stumbled across a plate that locks with a quick release lever instead of a knob. When you're moving quick, those little knobs are easy to not tighten all the way. Especially if your hands aren't perfectly dry and you don't have enough grip to really crank it. About to buy a couple of these because they are the perfect accessory to stick on a monopod and use at events when time is of the essence.
Fine quick release ballhead for amateur
I attach this ballhead to my tripod/monopod. It helps me to quickly secure my camera, sometimes weigh 3-4 pounds with zoom lenses, onto the tripod/monopod. It is pretty heavy duty built and easy to use. However, the bottom screw hole is larger than the conventional 1/4 screw receptacle and hence I have to order a reducer bushing to reduce it in order to attach the ballhead into my tripod/monopod. It costs me a few bucks and a few days waiting for the delivery. .........
