The heart of the system is the Photoflex StarFlash 150W/s monolight, which is suitable for the professional as well as the aspiring photographer. The StarFlash uses a high-quality German flash tube and a 250W modeling light which can be set to full brightness or proportional to the flash tube's light output. The Starflash has a low synch voltage (safe for digital cameras), recycles in 1 - 2 seconds and has a short flash duration. Power is variable over 5 stops from 1/8 to full power.
