The Bolide Technology Group High Speed WDR PTZ Camera with Motion Tracking has the ability to lock onto a person or object and follow it as it moves across the camera's field of view. As part of this functionality the camera will automatically adjust its zoom in response to the object moving towards or away from the camera. When tracking is over, the camera will return to normal preset operation.
Other PTZ functions include a powerful 36x optical zoom for close up viewing, 360 degrees of pan to prevent blind spots, and an auto flip function to keep objects displayed in the upright position under full tilt operation. This camera also offers a full complement of programmable preset, pattern, and tour functions for automated operation. An integrated multi-protocol feature enables camera interoperability with DVRs and keyboard controllers from third party manufacturers
This camera employs a WDR function to help combat extreme lighting situations such as when the subject matter is brightly lit from behind (backlit) or when there's a mix of bright and dark within the same image. By ensuring properly exposed images WDR helps bring out all the important details of a scene.
With regards to image quality this camera employs a Sony 1/4" Exview CCD with 520 TV lines of resolution to capture the surveillance scene with superior brightness and clarity. The camera also has a built-in day/night function which will automatically switch the camera from color to B/W video when light levels decrease while removing an IR filter from the lens. In B/W mode the camera's sensitivity to light is improved from 1.4 lux to 0.1 lux. Together with the camera's white balance and BLC functions this will ensure a high degree of image visibility both day and night and in a range of lighting environments.
This camera can be installed in an indoor or outdoor location with its IP66 rated, aluminum alloy enclosure offering good protection from the weather. This camera also features a number of alarm I/O ports for interfacing external alarm and relay devices. An OSD menu helps you navigate through camera features and functions while Bolide's Snap-on installation feature aids CCTV personnel in installing and servicing the camera.
