The Bolide Technology Group Wide Dynamic Dome Camera uses a 1/3" Pixim chip with advanced wide dynamic range technology to help the camera adjust to extreme lighting environments. By separately processing the bright and dark regions of an image WDR functionality ensures properly exposed images with all the important details of a scene perfectly displayed. A WDR camera is therefore an important tool for monitoring areas with unbalanced lighting, a condition typically brought on by a strong presence of sunlight.
This camera captures clear images of the surveillance scene at a resolution of 540 TV lines. Additionally, this camera employs an automatic white balance function to help maintain proper color temperature under different light sources (i.e. sunlight, incandescent, fluorescent, halogen). With its 0.8 minimum illumination requirement this camera also performs well in low light.
This camera doesn't come with a lens, but is compatible with industry standard C/CS mount CCTV lenses including those equipped with a DC iris function. The camera also has a built-in OSD menu which will allow you to easily configure picture parameters according to a particular surveillance scene. The ability to power the camera via 12VDC or 24VAC gives you greater flexibility in the installation process.
