This Rycote Windjammer is intended to cover an existing Rycote foam windscreen and deliver added wind protection while capturing audio outdoors. The windjammer is made of synthetic fur and silk lining for greater wind-noise diffusion.

Upgraded the lyres on my 80s windscreen and threw on this caterpillar suit. Works great!
We operate a narrated tram ride, and the wind on our wireless headset, would cause the narration to go in and out, even with a foam wind protector on the mic. The windjammer has solved that problem. We have happy passengers again!
