Sescom LN2MIC-ZMH4-GH1 Reviews

Way worse than I expected

I orderd this to run my zoom H1 directly into my Panasonic GH1 in an attempt to improve audio quality without having to sync. It didn't work. The GH1's built in mic sounds better than this. I guess I'll have to stick to syncing my audio in post.

Faulty unit

Doesn't apply any attenuation. Probably it is because I received a faulty unit and I hope I'll be able to get a replacement from B&H or Sescom. To make sure I'm not mistaken I compared it to my older Sescom cable which has the same -25db pad , except it is 3.5mm to 3.5mm. I had to add an extra 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter to connect my Zoom H4n to a Panasonic GH2. This older cable with an adapter worked fine, which proves that this new LN2MIC-ZMH4 2.5mm Sub-mini to 3.5mm Mini cable has a problem.

Is there the same type cable as this but longer ...

Is there the same type cable as this but longer than 9"? I need it for a GH5 on a gimbal.

I would say 12 to 14 inches.
