    Nady PCM-200 reviews

PCM-200 Classic Dynamic Microphone is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from If you have to settle for this, you don't need it OUCH, what a terrible mic. if you thought Hey, I NEED the Elvis Mic, but I can't pay one-eighty for it, I'll pick up this sixty dollar item and save. then you are not thinking clearly. This mic has an awful tone, it LOOKS kind of cool, looks kid of close to the original, but you REALLY can't buy a mic for looks. I mean you CAN, especially if you were just going to toss the money in the street anyway. But how many of us really do that? If you can't stomach the extra eighty bucks, then forget your dream of singing into an Elvis mic, because this AIN'T what you think it is. It is like the element rejects low frequencies and passes only piercing highs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ehh Spend the extra hundred bucks. This is a mic. That's all. Furthermore, for the MONEY, it's not a good mic. It reproduces sound, but other mics at this price do it well. I just don't want anyone to think that the shape makes it better than the lowliest offering from Peavey, Shure, Samson, etc. If SOUND QUALITY is all you are looking for, steer clear. That said, it works, and you can tame it a little with EQ. But if you want the sound and the shape, drop the extra cash on the real deal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Great The mic is cool looking and not terrible sounding but quite boomy so you really need to EQ it. As others have stated it is extremely sensitive so don't think of tapping you foot or touching the stand. I am actually returning it because when I need the vintage look (Songbook jazz vocalist) I need a better mic than this so I will likely get the Shure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nady PCM full bodied sound The construction of the PCM 200 is very sturdy, solid metal, and looks very professional. My only concern is that the threads that connect to the mic stand don't seem to want to screw on to everyone of my stands. I am using for live theater where we produce Old Time Radio. It looks authentic but most importantly sounds great.
