Nady PM-100 Reviews

Did not perform as expected

Well, perhaps I expected too much out of this, but this speaker did not perform up to my expectations. I use this speaker in combination with a Peavey MP-600 Amp and Peavey PR10 Speakers for my church. When I use the Nady alone, the sound appears muffled, even though it appears to have the same reach as the Peaveys. I can still hear even at the back of the church, but the clarity is not quite the same. As this speaker is at the stage, I did not hear any difference when using it along with the PR10s or using it alone. I had hoped to get an enhancement of the vocals by having this additional speaker. This did not happen. By the way, I had to turn the impedance knob completely the other way (clockwise) to get the max sound, and again, that sound is muffled. I wanted to get two of these, but with the performance this speaker has given, I will have to go another route to get my desired sound. We won't do away with the speaker, as it does not hurt anything, it just doesn't help either.

I used this product for small group choir. The product is great because of its size, it is very easy to carry around. The thing that are not so great about the product is the volue knob ajustment at the back. Too tight to switch.
