Its way too small. Even if I disassemble my Rode Smart Lav, the clip doesnt fit, never mind the while mic assembly. I don't know which mics they tested, but forget about fitting anything larger than a grain of rice.

Others here have complained about the door on the larger compartment popping out of its socket on the hinge side, and I did experience that on 2 out of the 3 of these that I bought. The fix was pretty simple though: just heat the tip of a metal probe or a push pin with a flame and push it through from the outside of the shell all the way through the hinge tab of the clear compartment door. It will melt the two separate pieces of plastic just enough to provide some real resistance and keep the compartment door from pulling out. Just be careful not to stab yourself with the pin or burn yourself in the process. After doing that, they work like a charm.
