Being lightweight (0.77lb / 0.35 kg), the decoder can be securely mounted under a handheld DV camera or between a tripod and the camera, enabling you to use your DV camera like an SDI camera. In dubbing or post-production applications, the DV-Bridge CAM can also operate in a freestanding ‘tabletop’ setup.
Ideal for post-production applications, the DV-Bridge CAM can be used to playback any DV signal to SDI via an editing workstation. In addition, it also offers support for DV, DVCAM, and VCPRO formats and 32, 44.1, and 48 kHz DV audio sample rates. The SDI output generated includes embedded audio and DVITC (Digital Vertical Interval Time Code) to integrate DV cameras in an SDI facility.
