The Middle-Atlantic C5F1 1 Bay Credenza Rack Frame is a well-made unit designed for a permanent studio installation. The heavy-duty frame is made from durable steel and supported by four rugged casters that make mobility easy when you want or need to rearrange your venue. The frame comes with two thermostatically controlled fans that protect your equipment from overheating. Ventilation is achieved in a completed unit (with the optional Finishing Kit) when air enters between the toe kick and the door and heated air exits through the front trim.
There is plenty of rack space (14-U) for various consoles and monitors. Each rack bay comes equipped with two pairs of 11-gauge steel rackrails tapped with 10-32 mounting holes in universal EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) spacing. The unit is finished in a black e-coat finish and all rackspaces are numbered for easy access.
A separate Finishing Kit (sold separately) is available for this unit that will provide a stylish wood cover for the system. Integrating the frame with the wood finish is easy. Everything easily fastens to the steel frame. Middle-Atlantic even makes it easy to change the cosmetic appearance of the unit down the road by simply purchasing a different Finishing Kit.
