The Panasonic WV-SF336 Fixed Dome Network Camera, with a 1.3 MP MOS image sensor and progressive scan, offers high-quality imagery with less motion blur and no tearing even when the subject is moving. With the UniPhier LSI chip, the network camera allows simultaneous streaming of real-time imagery in H.264 and JPEG formats at a resolution of 1280 x 960 at 30 fps. It allows you to change the JPEG image compression ratio during an alarm for high-quality images, while H.264/MPEG-4 maximum bit rate/client and total bit rate control enables flexible network traffic management.
For effective viewing in various lighting conditions, the network camera uses the Adaptive Black Stretch technology that ensures clear images. The Auto Back Focus feature makes installation easy, as well as ensures stable focus in both color and B&W modes. With a minimum illumination of 0.3 lux (color) and 0.2 lux (B&W) at f/1.3, the camera offers clear images even in low light conditions.
While the Face Wide Dynamic Range technology provides clear face images, the face-detection function helps in detecting the position of human faces and sends the information via XML or video stream for evaluation.. The dome network camera also features Adaptive Digital Noise Reduction (3D-DNR) to deliver clear images by removing signals that could result in video noise (grainy images).
The VMD (Video Motion Detection) feature has 4 programmable detection areas, 15 sensitivity levels, and 10 steps of detection size, triggers an alarm when motion is detected in a designated portion of the video display. When motion is detected, you can receive email notifications or upload pre- and post-alarm snapshots via FTP.
Zone blanking blanks out an entire area or zone (which is set by a system operator) to eliminate any unnecessary video information from being processed. Up to 2 zones can be programmed to output blank video for areas not requiring video surveillance. The full duplex bi-directional communication allows you to talk to visitors or potential intruders from operator's base station.
When multiple recorders or client PCs access the camera, you can prioritize 1 of the videos for maintaining the frame rate using the prioritize stream control function. The SD/SDHC card slot for on-board storage prevents data loss that can occur due to a broken network connection.
