Vivotek FD8361L Fixed Dome Network Camera

The Vivotek FD8361L Fixed Dome Network Camera, with a 2 megapixel CMOS sensor and a 3-9mm vari-focal auto-iris lens, delivers high-quality imagery at resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 pixels. Built-in IR illuminators that are effective up to 65.6' (20m) coupled with a minimum illumination of 0 lux ensure clear images even in complete darkness.

With the ePTZ feature, you can zoom in on a target area without changing the camera direction physically. The FD8361L supports automatic, manual, or scheduled day/night modes that enable the camera to switch to color mode during daytime, and b&w mode in low light conditions. H.264 compression helps reduce video file sizes without compromising on the quality and integrity of images. The camera also supports MJPEG & MPEG-4 compression technologies.

Backlight Compensation (BLC) adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light. The removable IR-cut filter enables the camera to switch between color and b&w as per changes in ambient lighting. ONVIF standard provides enhanced integration and interoperability. Activity Adaptive Streaming allows dynamic allocation of bandwidth with a configurable frame rate as per different needs.

With the Tamper Detection feature, the camera detects tampering attempts and sends out real time alerts. The built-in SD/SDHC card slot allows you to easily store recorded content on removable memory cards. With the 3-axis mechanical design, ceiling and wall mount installation is simplified. The FD8361L offers several security features such as IP address filtering, multi-level user access with password protection, and HTTPS encrypted data transmission. Video Cropping allows you to eliminate parts of the video that are not required, thus allowing you to save bandwidth.

The FD8361L camera comes in a vandal-proof and weather-proof housing that has a metal base and a polycarbonate transparent cover, enabling it to withstand an impact of up to 2204.6 lb (1000 kg). IP66-rating means that the camera is protected against dust, moisture, and extreme weather conditions.

A heater and a fan are included in the housing, which allows the FD8361L to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -22 to 122° F (-30 to 50 °C) and humidity from 20 to 95% RH. The built-in 802.3af Compliant PoE (Class 3) allows power to be supplied to the camera from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.
