The Bosch VEZ-221-IWTEIVA Indoor Easy II IP 10x Tinted Dome Camera with IVA, with a 1/4" color CCD and 120x zoom (10x optical, 12x digital) capability, delivers high-quality imagery at a resolution up to 530TVL. With sensitivity below 1.0 lux, the camera offers clear images even in low light conditions. Automatic Gain Control adjusts the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level. Auto White Balance adjusts the red and blue signals in the MWB mode by taking a standard white color reference to get the most natural colors.
Along with H.264 and JPEG compression, the AutoDome Easy II IP camera supports 4 CIF and CIF resolutions at 30 images per second. It allows tri-streaming video profile, generating 2 independent H.264 streams and a JPEG stream simultaneously.
With a dome diameter of only 4", the compact camera proves useful for discrete surveillance applications. The PTZ camera offers a pan range up to 360° and tilt speed up to 100°. It has 99 user-defined presets as well as 1 preset tour, 2 recorded tours, and 2 autopan modes. It also features patented AutoScaling for proportional zoom and AutoPivot that automatically rotates and flips the camera to ensure optimal control.
Privacy masking feature allows you to program masks with 3, 4, or 5 corners to cover more complex shapes. It offers up to 12 individual privacy masks, with up to 12 displayed in the same scene. The masks change size smoothly when the camera is zoomed so that the covered object is not seen.
With the intelligence-at-the-edge concept, the camera also features Bosch’s IVA (Intelligence Video Analysis), which detects and analyzes moving objects while suppressing false alarms from spurious sources in the image. Tamper detection determines whether the camera or the output signal is tampered with while motion detection detects presence of relevant motion in the scene. ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) standard helps in providing compatibility with other surveillance products, which reduces further upgrade or migration costs. The built-in iSCSI support with the edge recording system enables local storage and reduces dependence on network bandwidth. SNMP support helps in remote monitoring and management of the camera.
PoE supplies power to the camera from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. With a heavy-duty, tamper-resistant aluminum housing and a rugged polycarbonate tinted bubble, the camera is protected against vandalism and theft.
