The Polaroid Studio Series 52mm 2.2x HD Telephoto Lens makes a great cost-effective addition to any video or still camera kit. The precisely engineered, multi-coated glass magnifies the field of view of your base lens by 2.2x, letting you shoot from further away or more easily isolate your subject in the frame. Whether you're shooting with a camcorder's built-in zoom or an interchangeable prime lens on a DSLR, as long as the filter thread measures 52mm, this solid, lightweight performer can take you closer to the action.

Studio Series 52mm 2.2x HD Telephoto Lens is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but understand the limits I bought this hoping for a temporary, very low cost alternative to a longer lens to use with my GH-4 camera. I shoot video almost exclusively. I didn't realize the 2.2X extender only works when my base lens is set to it's longest focal length. In other words, I thought it would make my 14-42 lens a 28-84 lens. It only works to convert my 14-42 into an 84 lens. Zooming out any and you get a port hole effect. I thought it would work like a 2x extender built into the broadcast lens I've used back in the 90s. All that said, it does what it was designed to do well. The pictures have minimal blurring - some, but very little. And there is very, very little light loss going through the lens. I like it and it works well for what i needed for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap way to extend your lens Bought this lens as a cheap way to extend the range of my 18-55 mm lens. Produces very good results from the 35-55 mm range but below that it keyholes so you have to be a bit careful. I still like the ability to cheaply get longer range shots and it's easy to use and carry.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too much edge blur I had this attached to a Lumix G X Vario PZ 45-175mm f/4.0-5.6 ASPH. Lens on a Blackmagic Studio HD. We do live video and needed something to get us a little closer to the action. While this did the job it added a ton of blur to, what had been, a very clear picture.
