The Cavision LCD Viewfinder Set with Plate for Canon 5D Mark II with Battery Grip is a simple way to bring the professional video viewfinder experience to your DSLR camera. While designed for the 5D Mark II, the viewfinder set has some height adjustability, so it should work for many DSLRs, including the Canon 7D. Please note that the use of a battery grip is required. The set includes an LCD Viewfinder for DSLR, a new quick release swing connection piece and a mini-DV plate allowing the viewfinder to be attached directly to the camera's battery grip via screw.
