question

Would it support a 10lb rig if mounted to one end while the other is fixed to a jib? The end with the camera would only be supported by the other end. Sorry if this is confusing.

Hmm... I can't recommend this. It may work, but any kind of rig like this should be done at your own risk. I can't guarantee it would hold the weight or that it wouldn't shift or move and cause a disaster.
