VariZoom StingRay Pro HD DSLR Support System

The VariZoom StingRay Pro HD DSLR Support System is a highly flexible, modular support for DSLR cameras with movie recording function and traditional video cameras, and provides a complete tool-free operation experience. Incorporating the RigLits architecture, the StingRay includes all RigLits modular components. The industry standard 15mm rod system allows you to use additional accessories like matte boxes from multiple manufacturers.

You can easily set up or tear down the StingRay system without any tools in a matter of minutes. With 5 different configurations that the StingRay system can be set up into, you are offered high operability, flexibility and portability. You can set up the system into simple 3-point, 3-point with dual adjustable handles, and 4-point with dual handles; shock-absorbing body mount and counterweighted pivoting shoulder brace modes.

A quick-release camera platform along with a rod clamp comes with the StingRay system, and allows you to easily attach or detach your camera from the unit. Also integrated into the system are dual telescoping adjustable handles and a belt/holster combined with a suspension pod for body-based support. You are also provided with an articulating pistol grip that rotates to form a kickstand, and allows you to set up the complete unit on a table.

You are offered a padded shoulder brace with an arched design that provides a high degree of comfort. Enhanced balance is possible via the integrated counterweight system that counterbalances any setup configuration.

The StingRay support system can be used with DSLR cameras like the Canon 5D Mark II, 7D, and 1D Mark IV, as well as traditional video cameras like the Sony EX and Panasonic HD series.
