Vello LA-NF-T Overview

Make the most of your existing collection of T-mount glass with this Vello Lens Adapter that will allow you to mount these lenses to a Nikon F-mount camera. Precise construction makes it easy to attach these adapted lenses to your camera and keeps it secure during use. Infinity focus is guaranteed, ensuring that you get proper functionality our of all your optics. Additionally, the adapter is made from a durable zinc alloy and features a matte black finish on the inside to reduce the potential for glare and reflections that can negatively impact image quality.

Although the lens will fit physically, autofocus, automatic diaphragm (AE metering), and other functions dependent on communication between camera body and lens will be disrupted by the lens adapter. You will need to focus manually, and to set exposures manually or meter in aperture priority (stop-down) mode. Focusing to infinity is retained.

This adapter enables the use of T lenses on Nikon F-mount cameras, meaning you can now use your existing stable of lenses on your current camera. It is also very secure, holding the lens in place without any wobble sometimes associated with the adapting process.
Thanks to precise manufacturing, this adapter is guaranteed to provide infinity focus by placing the lens at the correct distance from the sensor. This allows you to make the most of your lenses and doesn't limit you from shooting distant subjects.
Made from a durable zinc alloy, this adapter will withstand many uses and won't wear or break in the way soft brass or cheap plastic would. Also, an internal matte black finish reduces reflections and glare, ensuring your images look sharp and contrasty.

I have Nikon D720 and D750 T ring can fit all and do I need anymore accessories to connect to Celestron Starsense Explorer DX130? Thanks
Asked by: Kam
If you already own a Nikon T-mount adapter such as the Vello T-Mount Lens to Nikon F-Mount Camera Lens Adapter listed above, then you would simply need the Celestron SLR (35mm OR Digital) Camera Adapter for the NexStar 4, C90 & C130 Spotting Scopes - Requires Camera-Specific T-Mount Adapter, B&H # CETAC90, to connect your camera to your Celestron StarSense Explorer DX 130AZ 130mm f/5 AZ Reflector Telescope. The rear of the T-mount adapter connects to your camera's lens mount, the front of the T-mount adapter connects to the rear of the Celestron SLR Camera Adapter, and after removing your telescope's eyepiece, the Celestron adapter connects to the telescope.

question

I am in need of a T Ring adaptors to fit a Nikon D7000 SLR camera and a Canon S100 to a konusport 7122 spotting scope. I have the extension that screws onto the scope eye piece. can you help?

You will need this adapter for the D7000 and the Celestron Universal Digiscoping Adapter for the S100. You should already have the SLR Camera adapter that comes included with the scope as well.

question

Hi, I would like to know if this adapter will let me add my Canon 500mm f/4L IS II USM Lens onto my Nikon D7100 body? Thanks
Asked by: Anonymous
No, sorry. It would not be the correct mount type. At present, we do not carry an adapter to connect EOS lenses to Nikon bodies.

question

Hello,I have a Opteka 500mm lens for Nikon D5000 DSLR. Will this T Mount lens adapter fit the Opteka lens? Thanks for your answer in advance.Best,Vijay
Asked by: Anonymous
The Vello Lens Mount Adapter - T Mount Lens to Nikon F Mount Camera will work on the D5000 as long as you have the camera set to manual exposure mode. The in camera meter will not function when using this lens so you will need to use a hand held light meter or you can estimate the exposure.Assuming your Opteka 500mm lens is a T-mount lens, this adapter will fit on the lens too.

question

I use this to connect my Nikon D5000 to my Celestron NexStar 6 SE but I can't take pictures. what am I doing wrong? or what am I not doing? Thank you.
Asked by: Cesar O.
your problem may be the metering selection you have made on your camera. Nikon requires that you use aperture priority or manual mode to shoot with these types of lenses. it you use aperture preferred the camera will meter using the lens maximum aperture and will automatically select a shutter speed. look in your camera manual for lens type compatibility, you may find some helpful hints there

question

I have a D300 Nikon SLR and want to fit tele-astranar 400mm lens need lens adapter?
Asked by: Jacqualine M.
I have a Vivitar 800mm mirror lens that came, from B&H with this mount. I found it hard to use as a mirror lens is very fat. I used another mount as a result. The lens adapter might work for you if the lens is not very broad or heavy.
