Brother LC75 reviews

Innobella High Yield XL LC75 Color Ink Cartridge 3-Pack is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work Perfect, Great Value High yield in a three cartridge kit, what more could you ask for? The genuine brother cartidges work so much better than the cheap aftermarket ones. Buying these in this kit makes them an even better value against the aftermarket/reman offerings.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ink used for Brother MFC-J835DW IMHO: This Brother printer has a very nice feature set; however, it appears to drink this ink. I found documented on this replacement cartridge of ink that once installed, it is to be used within 6 months. Sorry, but I do not print very often and will never get my moneys worth out of these cartridges. The cartridges that came with the printer lasted me 7.5 months. I printed less than 75 pages and 50% of those were only 25% filled with black and white text. The others contained a few google maps and there were a few web pages that contained some graphics; but, no photographs or large graphics of any kind. Seems like every day this printer activates itself at least once and does some kind of print head maintenance. I am guessing that maintenance is where all the ink goes. I previously had a Canon Pixma and got fed up fighting the cartridge chips when I replaced the cartridges with other than Canon cartridges. I bought the Brother thinking the cartridges were less expensive and thus the overall expense would be less. I was wrong. This is more expensive due to the waste of ink during the printer's self-maintenance. Thunbs down on Brother until they remedy the ink usuage and I doubt they will as most printer manufacturers try to force us to by their ink at unecessarily high prices ;) NOTE: Even though I printed most black ink; all colors ran out at same time ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from -No Brainer I have been dealing with B&H since 1972. No reason not to, they make it easy for me to order, they make products reasonably priced, they ship it to my door in very short order, and most of the time they add nothing to the bill for that service. They do all that and send me a catalog for when I don't feel like staring at a computer screen. What more could you ask of a company?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ink Consumption Can be Issue for Infrequent Use One of the other reviewers noted the consumption of ink when the printer is infrequently used. I have an MFC-J835DW and I generally agree with this reviewer. Reviews on other sites have similar observations. Unfortunately, ink jet printers just work this way. Laser printers can sit idle indefinitely and use no toner. Not so with ink. If the intricate nozzles are not flushed periodically, some will plug. When that happens, you can waste a lot of ink trying to clean them and return functionality. Sometimes they never clean up. By now it is probably obvious that the reason all three cartridges emptied about the same time, despite predominantly blank ink printing, is that that the major use of the ink was the regular flushing, not printing. I am not certain about this, but it may be that if you use the printer once or twice a day, it may actually use less ink since the flushing cycle is then not needed, or not needed as frequently.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gotta use the ink - better than most I'm glad Brother hasn't resorted to some tactics to scalp their users as some manufacturers have (ahem - L3xmark). While it is expensive, the ink is not as expensive as most and replacement is easy. I'm pleased with the printer and the ink so far. Glad to be rid of my previous printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works on my MFC-J425W I have a MFC-J425W That the whole family uses. From Tablets to Desktops. I needed the Larger Ink Package to handle the amoust of Printing Done. The Price is GREAT. Better than the Office Stores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Standard Ink for my printer I have used 3rd party inks with my printer but this ink from the manufacturer is better. The colors are truer and more saturated - especially when used with whiter, thicker papers.
