This mount is great in principle, but didn't end up working well for me. -The pan lock on the ball head broke my first time using it. Had to replace with a Manfrotto head I thankfully had with me. -The suction cups don't come with the baby pin screwed on, so if the camera is jostled or pulled in the wrong direction, they can come unscrewed. They won't come off, but they will be loose. -The same problem ends up happening with the top rod (the one that attaches to your camera). Because it screws in, any pull in the wrong direction will result in it coming loose. My solution was to screw it into a cheese plate instead, allowing me to apply enough torque that it won't come loose (something I wouldn't want to do on the camera for fear of damaging it). An even quicker option would be to use a nato rail accessory, so it can come on and off quickly when you're ready to shoot.

question

Has anyone tried this with a ronin-m and dslr?
Asked by: Thomas L.
Not to my knowledge the Pro mount does not have large enough suction cups.
