The Samsung SND-5080F HD Network Dome Camera (Flush Mount) with 1.3 MP progressive scan CMOS sensor delivers crisp images in H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG formats at a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, and also supports the 16:9 HD (720p) resolution. Featuring a focal length range of 2.8-10 mm, the 3.6x zoom lens has a fast maximum aperture of f/1.2.
The day/night camera uses an IR cut filter to switch between color and B&W as per the changes in ambient lighting, ensuring optimum color reproduction in daylight, and enhanced visibility at night. Able to capture clear images in low-light conditions, the SND-5080F network camera works in minimum illumination of 0.3 lux at f/1.2 (color), and 0.01 lux at f/1.2 (B&W). Digital noise reduction with 3D+2D filter digitally corrects any video noise that could cause blurring or distortion in the images by minimizing the signal-to-noise ratio penalties. Backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light. Auto white balance adjusts the red and blue signals in the MWB mode by taking a standard white color reference to get the most natural colors. Automatic gain control allows you to adjust the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level.
Privacy Masking blanks out an entire area or zone (which is set by a system operator) to eliminate any unnecessary video information from being processed, thus decreasing video traffic over a network. Up to 12 zones can be programmed to output blank video for areas not requiring video surveillance.
The HD Network camera also includes motion detection feature that triggers an alarm when motion is detected in a designated portion of the video display. You can also receive email notifications when motion is detected or upload pre and post alarm snapshots via FTP. The bi-directional communication with audio support enables you to communicate with visitors or potential intruders from the operator’s base station.
Power is supplied to the camera through PoE; hence the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. On-board slot is provided for SD card; apart from being convenient for short-term/temporary storage, recording onto SD card also rules out data loss due to network disconnection. The camera also includes video management software that enables seamless integration with Samsung’s CMS Software or third-party software applications.Note: No
