The Video Mount Products IBA-1 I-Beam Adapter (B&H # VIIBA1) is technically sturdy enough to withstand outdoor wind conditions, but this item is only designed for indoor use. This mounting hardware is not moisture-resistant and is not recommended for outdoor use.

Does the mounting plate level out if mounted to a ceiling with a slight angle?
The Video Mount Products IBA-1 I-Beam Adapter (B&H # VIIBA1) does not have a leveling feature. This adapter would be mounted directly to an I-Beam in a fixed position.
