    Cinch Strap for Portable Flashes is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 96.
    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Go to the fabric store I bought this, so I could get an idea of what I needed. I would suggest just heading to the fabric store. I kept this, but my version works much better, and more securely, without leaving sticky velcro mess on the other side. I would recommend this if you do not want sticky stuff on your flash, but I would suggest more that you visit the local fabric/craft store.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from works fine, handy, no need of sticky vel it is basically a strip of Velcro. At $ it may seem a bit overpriced, but after all it seems good quality Velcro and I saw that at stores like Home Depot Velcro is not so much cheaper and the back would not be of this slip free rubber. With this one you do not need to stick lower quality velcro to the flash head. this is also thicker and wider. I give 4 stars just because it could be a little cheaper, but after all the Vello bounce accessories are not over priced so it all evens out.I use it with the Vello Light Shapers for Portable FlashB&H # VEFD700 MFR # FD-700 which is inexpensive, efficient, portable and easy to fit in the camera bag (i store it with the flash secured upside down than when in use with the velcro }

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simply Marvelous You wouldn't think something so simple could be so effective; but, it is. Once the Cinch Strap is wrapped around the flash head, it doesn't move. The velcro is backed with a gripping material that keeps it (and your accessories) from sliding around or off the speed light. All without the use of gooey adhesives. And because it's removable, I can use it on other pieces of gear, or wherever I need to attach a tiny reflector/diffuser. The only downside is that because it is so small and black (EVERYTHING in my bag is black, including the bag!), it can get lost easily.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Similar to Honl This is about the same as the Honl strap. The rubber side is a different material, but no less effective. This is good for an SB-900/910, but a bit to wide for smaller flashes like the SB-600. For those, I find the narrower Lumiquest UltraStrap works a bit better.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not perfect I expected there to be more elasticity so it would really engage and grab onto flash head. The rubber base is nice and rubbery (not sticky) and will make good contact with any smooth surface, but as tight as I try to attach it to my flash head, it doesn't give me the confidence that it won't slip off at some point, especially since there are a couple of tiny ridges/formations on my flash that this strap does not conform to/around. It is usable, but I think you have to keep a light eye on it so it doesn't let your softbox go. Then again, the flex in the attachment of your sofbox may just be the nature of the hook and loop material. If hook and loop surfaces were bigger, I think it would hold the large Vello softbox better. I'm only recommending one to use it because I don't want to put any adhesive velcro on my flash and this is the only alternative if you want to put a light softbox on it.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works It's a velcro strap. It works. It does have some silicone on the back side of the strap to keep it from slipping, but it would've been better if it covered the whole back instead of a couple strips. Unless I get this stall on tight, it will slip a little.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cinch Strap a cinch to use. As these softboxes, etc., come with adhesive Velcro to attach to a flash, for me the cinch strap is the only way to go. Inexpensive, and easy to attach to a on camera flash, they can be re-used many times and leave no sticky residue.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from No need to stick velcro on flash! Beats sticking velcro pads on flash head, which sometimes get in the way of other accessories. Plus strap is portable flash to flash, if you have more than one. Great rubbery backing provides trustworthy grip.
