Attaches quickly and easily to my Canon 580EX flash. Have used mainly for macro work so far. Nice even lighting. Great B&H sale price didn't hurt either!

Simple, Inexpensive Diffuser

This soft box does what it says and adds a simple, portable method to diffusing light using a portable flash. With the velcro cinch strap, you can safely secure it to your portable flash. My only complaint so far is that the opening that goes around your flash is somewhat difficult to keep open in order to fit it around the cinch strap. However, within a few minutes, it is secured to my flash and ready to get to work. The soft box is built well of quality materials and I think it will last for years.

Does E-TTL still work when this is used on your on camera flash?

I used it on my Canon 430EX II and it works fine in ETTL. You may have to set the exposure brightness one stop brighter, but it wasn't really that bad as is.

That would depend on the size of the LED. But long story short, as long as it can physically fit inside the back of the softbox, it should work fine.
