You can zoom in to view any scene with 43x optical zoom in 3sec, thus saving time. In addition, the camera also uses a 16x digital zoom, making it capable for up to 688x zooming. A minimum illumination of 0.0007 lux (color, Sens-Up) at f/1.2 makes the camera suitable for night time surveillance.
With XDR (eXtended Dynamic Range), the day/night camera delivers clearly visible images in high-contrast light conditions. The SmartDome PTZ Camera is defined by its WDR function, which it uses to correct extreme lighting environments marked by high-contrast and harsh backlit scenes. Adaptive digital noise reduction with 3D+2D filter digitally corrects any video noise that could cause blurring or distortion in the images by minimizing the signal-to-noise ratio penalties. Backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light. DIS (Digital Image Stabilization) offers steady pictures by compensating for any camera movement caused by external stimuli. The SmartDome PTZ Camera has 360° endless panning ability, 0-180° tilting, and has a maximum pan/tilt speed of 600°/min. The advanced motion detection feature detects motion without any additional external sensor. Privacy masking allows you to mask up to 12 user programmable zones of a scene for privacy reasons.
Camera control using the video coaxial cable allows to remotely setup the camera, thus offering ease of installation and remote adjustment in real time.
