The SOLID CAMERA Baseplate for Panasonic AG-AF100 is a component in a system that adapts the Micro Four Thirds-mount camera to accept PL-mount cine lenses and an ARRI Super 35 base. By adapting the camera to fit an ARRI Super 35 base, the Baseplate enables precise alignment with ARRI standard accessories and those of other manufacturers. The Baseplate also provides rigid support for the SOLID CAMERA replacement PL Mount for the AF100, and also for the company's PL Adapter.
SOLID CAMERA's CineLock quick releases for 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 (not included) can be utilized in many of the mounting locations on the Baseplate. Via the SOLID CAMERA LWS Bracket (not included), which attaches to the Baseplate, the system can accept standard 15mm rods. No special tools or skills are required to assemble the system.
