The B+W 58mm MRC 110M ND 3.0 Filter is a neutral density filter with a 1000x filter factor that provides a 10-stop exposure reduction. Its 3.0 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By increasing the aperture or slowing your exposure time, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes eight layers of anti-reflection coating. This Multi-Resistant Coating (MRC) also offers greater protection to the filter substrate and helps it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters. B+W filters are constructed from Schott glass for increased optical clarity. This filter features an F-Pro brass filter ring for durability as well as jamming prevention.

will this filter fit a nikon 50mm 1.4 prime lens. If so will it auto focus with filter on or do you focus then install filter?

Hi there, I believe the 50mm 1.4 has 58mm filter thread so it should fit the lens without need for an adapter ring. The filter is virtually opaque to the naked ey so composition and focus need to be done prior to fitting. Hope this helps

Does this fit an 80 mm N Mamiya Lens?

If by 80mm, you're referring to the diameter of the lens and not the focal length, I would not do this. Although you can get step-down adapter rings to fit this 58mm filter to your lens, you'll be cropping out a large amount of your image and increasing the apparent focal length. If my 80mm you mean the focal length of your lens, then you should have no trouble with this filter if your lens diameter is 58mm or less. Hope this helps.
