Everio's Face Detection function intelligently detects up to 16 faces then accurately adjusts the focus and exposure. Face Recognition technology (on select models), allows you to register faces of friends and family so the camera can optimize exposure and focus giving priority to them

Touch on a face on the LCD screen, and that face is automatically shown enlarged in a corner of the screen. So you can record both a group shot and a close-up of someone at the same time!

Time-Lapse REC records one frame at a time at set intervals (1-80 seconds). So you can watch movement that's hours long in just a few seconds when played back.
