The ThinkPad T410 14.1" Notebook Computer from Lenovo is a 14.1" notebook computer with a 16:10 antiglare widescreen display. The system features a comfortable, spill-resistant keyboard and Lenovo's UltraNav system for mousing. UltraNav combines a TrackPoint and a large multi-gesture TouchPad for precise cursor control. A 9-cell battery provides up to 8.3 hours of use between charges.
The computer features a workstation-class nVIDIA Quadro NVS 3100M GPU with 256MB of memory. The Quadro is designed with professional graphics applications in mind. In addition to the computer's built-in display, it can drive an external LCD connected via DisplayPort, VGA, or -- via an optional adapter -- single-link DVI-D.
Numerous wireless communication tools are built into the system. Dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi allows you to connect to virtually any wireless network -- including standard 2.4GHz networks and those that operate on the less-cluttered 5GHz band. It also features built-in support for WiMAX mobile broadband. Bluetooth 2.1+EDR technology allows you to use compatible wireless peripheral devices -- such as keyboards, mice, and headphones -- with the notebook.
The computer is powered by a dual-core 2.53GHz Intel Core i5-540M CPU, which can be overclocked to 3.066GHz thanks to Intel Turbo Boost. It is loaded with 4GB of RAM, a 500GB 7200rpm hard drive, a DVD burner, a 2MP webcam, and a built-in memory card reader. Windows 7 Professional (32-bit) is the installed operating system.
