Pro Tools HD Native from Avid is a music and post-production core system that allows the professional to create complex, high-quality audio productions, using the full capabilities of Pro Tools HD software in a lower-cost native solution.
The system consists of a PCIe card and Pro Tools HD Native software that, along with an appropriate interface (available separately), delivers extremely low latency and the highest level of stability available within a native system.
Pro Tools HD Native delivers functions previously only available with Pro Tools HD systems, such as the use of Sync I/Os and integration with the Video Satellite options. Additionally, the HD Native system supports the ICON control surfaces.
