The UF 80 Classic from CME-Pro is a master controller keyboard featuring 88, hammer-action weighted, velocity sensitive keys, with aftertouch. The keyboard has an all-black finish, with the end pieces finished in tough black shellac, resembling a traditional piano. The iron keybed reduces the risk of twisting or distortion, and an aluminum upper casing provides strength with minimal weight increase.
In addition to the usual pitch bend and modulation wheels, the controller features eight assignable control knobs, nine assignable control faders, six transport controls and multiple control buttons. The unit features a single MIDI output for controlling external sound sources, and is fully USB Class compliant with both Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 and Mac OS X.
An expansion port offers the ability to add sounds to the keyboard and additional controls include inputs for a sustain and a control pedal, along for the ability to use a breath controller. Power can be supplied via the USB port.
