Cable not charging my iPod

For some unknown reason, the charge cable does not charge my iPod. I even tried removing the case of the iPod to ensure full insertion of cable into the iPod jack. Plan to discuss options with B&H tech support.

I have an iPhone 4 that I was hoping to use to play videos onto the TV. Unfortunately this product would not even send a signal to the multiple TV's I tried it on.

Will this cable work to connect a classic iPod to a PC using the USB cable? and will the iPod be recognized by the computer? Thank you.

The Xuma Component AV Cable with USB 30-Pin Charge & Sync for iPhone/iPod/iPad 6', B&H # XUCUSBACIP, should work with an iPod Classic; however, whether you can sync content from your computer depends on your specific computer model and its operating system version, as the iPod is no longer officially supported in modern operating systems.
