The Triad VPA-5D Camera Adapter Plate attaches to the bottom of a Canon 5D Mk II or 7D DSLR camera without a battery grip. It facilitates the attachment of the camera to a quick-release plate such as the Triad VTA-5D, which has a V-wedge element that accepts the corresponding part on the VPA-5D adapter plate.
The VPA-5D attaches to the Canon 5D or 7D via a standard 1/4"-20 threaded screw.
