In terms of key features, the Pro version has everything the Core has plus: It acts as a server in a networked environment in order to scale to any size studio; acts as a server in a sales station environment; enables you to print packages directly to an unlimited number of professional digital printers and mini-labs with built-in print drivers, letting you print up to 30% faster; and lets you define and set your own raster (bitmap) print drivers.
Ideal for studios and event, sports, portrait and wedding photographers, the Pro upgrade will let you use manufacturer-devised ICC profiles for optimal color output. Create media rules for multiple printers: Program specific print sizes, colors and products to be sent to specific printers. Network multiple licenses into a multi-computer, networked environment, with the ability to archive and manage photos between computers, configure multiple sales stations or kiosks, and edit images on one machine, then sell and publish them on another.
With the Pro software upgrade, you also gain built-in direct drivers for a variety of printers from: Agfa, Canon, Copal, Durst, Epson, Evolis, Fuji, Fujifilm, Fujimoto, Gretag, HP, Kodak, Konica-Minolta, Mitsubishi, Noritsu, Olmec, Shinko, Sienna, Sony, ZBE and Zebra.
