The AKG Audix MicroBoom Carbon Fiber 84" Boom without Microphone is a carbon fiber rod that can be used with any of the Audix Micros series condenser microphones. The MicroBoom is ultra lightweight and is able to attach to any microphone stand, making it the perfect problem solver for many hard-to-reach miking applications including choir, plays, and orchestra. Used in conjuction with Audix's specially designed MB-STAND low profile pedestal stand, the MicroBoom can be used in the vertical position for awards-style presentations.

Yes, the Audix MicroBoom 84 Carbon Fiber 84" Boom can be use with any microphone that has a mini-XLR connector. The MicroBoom 84 has a mini-XLR female connector on the top to attach the mic and terminates with a mini-XLR male connector at the bottom. The MicroBoom attaches to any microphone stand and can be used horizontally or vertically.
